BVHS CHEMISTRY LAB

Wk#5: February 9-13, 2026 ~ Honors Chemistry

Essential Question

a) How can VSEPR theory, molecular polarity, and intermolecular forces be analyzed together to explain and compare the shapes and interactions of molecules?

b) How can analyzing my first-semester performance and learning strategies help me make intentional adjustments to improve my understanding, skills, and outcomes in the second semester?

Learning Target

a) I can analyze molecular structure and behavior by using VSEPR theory to determine shape, evaluating polarity, and comparing intermolecular forces to explain differences between molecules.

b) I can analyze my first-semester strengths, challenges, and learning habits and explain specific strategies I will adjust & apply to improve my performance/understanding in the 2nd semester.
