COURSE DESCRIPTION
Chemistry is a one-year college preparatory science course that fulfills the Physical Science HS graduation requirement and the UC/CSU/College entrance laboratory science requirement. Chemistry requires a level of maturity and a disciplined approach to learning, students may need help during the course. 

GRADING CRITERIA!
Grades will be based on the total points earned for a variety of class activities & assignments including the final exam. Letter grades will be assigned at the end of the semester, based on a percentage scale and citizenship grades will be assessed at the teacher's discretion using school-wide citizenship rubric along with classroom behavior. NOTE: Grades are updated at the teacher's discretion!
